Recipe: Delicious Crunch Wrap

Crunch Wrap. In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, combine ground beef and spices and season with salt and pepper. With seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, reduced fat sour cream and a crunchy tostada shell for extra loud chewability, this is the Crunchwrap that made all the Crunchwrap rules.

Ingredients of Crunch Wrap

  1. You need 1 of 10 inch tortilla.
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp of sour cream.
  3. You need 1 tsp of taco seasoning.
  4. It's 3 of shakes of hot sauce.
  5. Prepare 1 of Hash brown pattie, cooked as directed and cut into three pieces lengthwise.
  6. You need 2 of Sausage links, cooked, and cut in half lengthwise. Or you could use cooked, crumbled bacon.
  7. Prepare 1 of Scrambled eggs.
  8. Prepare 1 of Shredded cheese.

It combines a tostada and a burrito all in one. And, what's even better, you can easily make this at home. It isn't hard to do at all. First, you will make the seasoned taco meat mixture and, if you want, some of my homemade Taco Bell sauce - click here for the Taco Bell sauce.

Crunch Wrap step by step

  1. In small bowl mix sour cream, taco seasoning, and hot sauce.
  2. Place tortilla on paper plate cover with a dampened paper towel and warm in the microwave for 20 seconds so its more flexible.
  3. Spread sour cream mixture on tortilla. As much or as little as you like. Sprinkle with a little bit of shredded cheese..
  4. On top of that place one slice of sausage, then a slice of hash brown until you use it all..
  5. Then add scrambled eggs and a little more shredded cheese.
  6. Fold sides of tortilla to the middle to make a oval shape until all edges are closed and everything is sealed in.
  7. Place Crunch wrap in a George Foreman grill or panini press sprayed with cooking spray. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.

I have completely forgotten how delicious the occasional Crunch Wrap Supreme was!!!! There is a bit of a problem getting all the ingredients-I will have to rely on friends, once worldwide travel begins again-to bring the taco seasonings. Flip the crunchwrap over and repeat with the remaining tortillas. Place the crunchwraps, folded-side down, in the heated pans or griddle, as many as will fit in a single layer.
